Oops!

Turns out when you get a new smartphone, and you delete a bunch of pictures that automatically downloaded on to it, you also delete all the pictures from years worth of blogging.  Oops.

Behind the Scenes of the Alderbrook Manor Wedding of Etna, CA {Jamie Solorio Photography}

In the interest of trying to get back to blogging, like I used to with my OLD BLOG (which is full of tons of photography information by the way!), I thought I would do a quick post tonight.  Here is a little bit of footage of some of the behind the scenes at last weekends wedding in Etna, CA.  The venue was the GORGEOUS Alderbrook Manor.  Thank you Amy and Jen for capturing me during the day...just wait, the further I get into the editing...the more pictures!  I have a bunch of my dear friends Jen and Amy, so keep checking back! lol!

This shot was taken by the very talented Amy Jensen who happened to be my second shooter for the day!  We were testing the light in the room as I pretended to be putting on some earrings!  We do try to have fun as we work too! :)

Okay, Alderbrook Manor of Etna, CA...I have to apologize now for standing on this little window seat.  I am quite sure it was NOT designed for a photographer to use as a step stool!  However, I did get some amazing shots of my bride, Kayla doing so.  So, thank you and I am sorry all at the same time!

This shot is of one of the bridesmaids, Nicole watching her friend put on her dress.  The bride, Kayla had begun to tear up with the emotion of the day and you can see the affect on her friend.  It would of been a great shot for Kayla's album had I not been ducked down beside her! lol!  I actually might still sneak it in the album after all!  Notice the use of the reflector and the handy back up camera...never leave home with out BOTH!

What an adorable family!  I have to say one of my favorites is the Chris standing in the Batman shirt!  Though, the picture of big brother holding little brother just melts my heart!  Thank you Melissa for letting me capture these moments of your children!  It was fun and busy all at the same time! lol!

Holiday Mini Sessions {Jamie Solorio Photography)

Yes...it is that time of year again!  Christmas cards will soon be mailed out...or emailed if you book a Mini Session through me.  I don't know about you, but the last time I mailed out my Christmas cards it cost a pretty penny in postage.  Last year I simply created a card and emailed it to all my friends and family!  It was super easy and saved a little too!  However, if you still like to mail out a card, the images I am providing during this Mini Session are all full resolution files with a copy right release for personal printing rights.  So, you are set either way!  Win! Win!

Just in case it rains on the Saturday, 10th of November, I have also set aside the following weekend as a back up!  The day will begin at 9am and there will be a session set every 45 mins.  Please contact me via email if you would like to book a session.  A 50% deposit is required to save your time slot, along with the signed contract.  Please email me at jamiesoloriophoto@hotmail.com if you have any questions or would like to book your Holiday Mini Session to capture your family in 2012.

Derek & Chelsea {TBS Ranch Wedding}

Taylor & Kimberley {Happily Ever After}

Blogging?  What?  How long has it been?  Way too long!  I am so behind on my blogging and updates on my new site, it is crazy!  However, my super kind, loving, patient, and incredibly handsome husband has decided to help me play catch up.  So, things might be out of order...but at least they are being blogged about!  More to come soon... hopefully! lol!

This has to be the most chill couple EVER!  Taylor and Kimberley are so in love, and deserve the very best life has to offer them!  I couldn't of been more excited to photograph their wedding at the beautiful Vine's wedding hot spot of Red Bluff, CA!  I loved watching Taylor and Kimberly with all of their close friends and family hang out and enjoy each other.  

The day began on Chop Chix of Redding, CA...fabulous place, if I do say so myself.  You need hair, nails, or just learn a dance or two...they totally have you covered.  The very talented make-up artist Nikki Gibson, created a beautiful look for Kimberley and her bridesmaids.  Just stunning!  After that the girls took a limo out to Red Bluff to get ready for the ceremony.  The guys were out hanging and setting everything up, just enjoying their time together.  

Taylor's dad, Rich was the  officiant of the ceremony.  He said the most beautiful things about this couple.  After they were married...that is when the party really began!  There were drinks, dancing, smiles, and stick wars.  All in all, this was a gorgeous wedding for two very special people.  Congratulations Taylor and Kimberley...I wish you the very best in life!
